At Arise Homes, we walk alongside single mothers in Northeast Ohio, equipping them with the tools to rebuild and thrive. Rooted in the love and teachings of Jesus Christ, we offer hope through workshops focused on financial literacy, parenting, wellness, and career readiness—helping women discover their God-given worth, confidence, and purpose.

Our vision is to one day provide safe, faith-filled transitional housing—a place where mothers can heal, grow, and rise with dignity, supported by a community grounded in Christ.

Meet the Team

Board Member

Tinishia Moore

Tinishia Moore joined Arise Homes in 2025 with a deep passion for helping women rise above life’s challenges. A mother at 19, Tinishia experienced firsthand the uncertainty and pressure of parenting young and single. Though she had support from her family and mentors, she often wondered how others managed without a safety net.

Her own journey—from feeling lost to finding purpose, completing her education, and building a family—fuels her commitment to walk alongside women who feel unseen or unsupported.

Tinishia believes no one is too far gone to be restored, and she’s dedicated to offering encouragement, guidance, and hope.

Ashley Ash

Ashley Ash joined Arise Homes in 2025 with a heart for women who are doing their best. Raised by her grandparents while her mother battled addiction and her father remained absent, Ashley was blessed with the stability and love that changed the course of her life.

Ashley knows what it means to “get it out the mud”—to build a life from limited means as a single-mother post-divorce, armed only with grit, faith, and a desire for something better.

At Arise Homes, she’s committed to helping women access the tools, knowledge, and encouragement they need to create safe, stable homes for themselves and their children.

Michele Jefferson

Michele Jefferson joined Arise Homes in 2025, bringing a deep, personal passion to the mission. As a woman who has weathered the storms of life, Michele knows firsthand the challenges many women encounter.

Drawing strength from her faith and experience opening her home to women in crisis, she is committed to creating safe, supportive spaces where mothers and children can find hope and stability.

Michele believes Arise Homes is more than transitional housing—it’s a community dedicated to empowering women to rebuild their lives with dignity.
